“I’ve had amazing therapy sessions with my therapist. I went in thinking therapy works by them listening and then telling you what to do but it definitely isn’t that way at all. She listened and repeated back to me her understanding of what I said to make sure she got the entire picture and then she asks me how it makes me feel. There’s never a wrong or right answer. She is there for you and helps guide you into finding the issues as to why you feel the way you feel or what life events has happened in the past that has affected your present so much. She makes me feel comfortable with speaking and doesn’t judge at all. Therapy “we listen and we don’t judge”. She has been a huge help in my mental improvement and I’ve always walked out there feeling lighter and understood. When a triggering event presents itself then I’d always hear our conversation in my head about why I feel the way I feel during those moments and almost immediately then I no longer have anxiety or fear or anger about whatever it was that just came up. She’s an amazing person, really friendly and kind. She makes you feel comfortable in the space and also you need to feel comfortable in a space that you are going to have to open in. She doesn’t make you feel less at home. But the more time spent then the more comfortable you start feeling. I recommend therapy to everyone. She’s an amazing therapist and person in general”.
